Wellness
Trainee wellness is an area of significant focus at Mass General Brigham, reflecting an understanding of the challenges that face residents and fellows during training. A number of important programs have been put in place to support the wellbeing of our trainees. Examples include:
- Assistance in finding a primary care doctor
- An episodic care clinic on hospital grounds
- The Employee Assistance Program, a consultation-based, short-term counseling, information and referral program for employees and their household members
- Trainee Peer Support Plus, which connects Mass General Brigham trainees with Trainee Peer Supporters to facilitate emotional healing, provide professional support and give practical guidance
- The Faculty/Trainee Mental Health Program, which provides streamlined access to psychiatric services at the Brigham, including a free confidential consultation
